Ahoy Pelagians
Boat owners, crew, and skippers are collaborating to prepare our boats for their splash. Your help, whenever possible, is greatly appreciated because we will soon be able to sail and enjoy our boats and the waters together.
First Monthly Meeting
The arrival of spring has brought renewed enthusiasm, and our first monthly meeting in April 2026 was well attended and a remarkable success. Attendees enjoyed a variety of delicious potluck dinner items, entrees, appetizers, and snacks in addition to pizza.

The May meeting will be held at the Savin Hill Yacht Club in Dorchester on May 21st at 6:30 PM. For further details about upcoming meetings/speakers, please refer to the events page on our website or the article below, which is managed by Chris Shea, our Fleet Captain.
Summer Cruise Planning
Cruise details were presented at the April meeting, in emails and on our website. We have an exciting season of cruising events for the summer to engage sailors both North and South of the Cape Cod canal. The cruise committee has worked diligently to complete locations and meeting plans for these sailing events. Meryl has uploaded the details to the website and will publish more here in the WINDS and via email for everyone’s reference in the coming months. Meryl is not shy to call any of us to take part and that all works so well! Thank you Meryl.
Spring Commissioning and Sailing
Spring is an enjoyable time for all sailors in Pelagic. Please note that all evaluation forms can be found on the website, and it is important for the applicant and the evaluator to be familiar with the content prior to performing the evaluation. We recommend evaluations for new applicants be made at any opportunity and as soon as possible once they have been accepted and assigned an advocate.
